* 12/19/06 Mailed application to CCAI;

* 12/21/06 Approved by CCAI;

* 1/13/07 Orientation at CCAI Atlanta;

* 1/25/07 Social worker conducts our home study;

* 3/2/07 Drive up to Atlanta to visit CCAI, turn in USCIS papers, and certify more papers at Secretary of State offices;

* 3/7/07 FedEx papers to Houston consulate and Chinese Embassy in Washington D.C.;

* 3/23/07 - Fingerprint appointment at Atlanta USCIS;

* 4/5/07 - I-797 comes in the mail!!!

* 4/12/07 - Send I-797 for authentication to Houston (It would've gone out 4/10/07, but they put the WRONG secretary of state's name - and this came from the Secretary of State!);

* 4/19/07 - Receive authenticated I-797 from Houston Consulate!

* 4/23/07 - Drive and hand-deliver dossier to Atlanta CCAI office;

* 4/25/07 - Receive word from Atlanta CCAI that our critical review has passed and our dossier is complete (and perfect). It's sent on for translation to Colorado.

* 4/26/07 - Dossier is received at CCAI Colorado.

* 5/1/07 - Because May 1 is a national labor day holiday in China, everyone will be on vacation until May 7. Dossier mailings are on hold until mailings can resume the following week. Yuck!

* 5/4/07 - Dossier mailed to China! FINALLY!

* 5/10/07 - Dossier hand delivered to CCAA.

* 5/14/07 - Dossier logged in at CCAA! A fabulous Friday it was!

* 12/31/07 - Send in papers to our agency's Waiting Child program. :)
